> TechAngels is the association of tech business angel investors in Romania, contributing capital, expertise and connections to the startup ecosystem since 2013.

## What we are (and aren't)

We are a community of 140+ individual angel investors: founders, executives and professionals from the technology industry. We are not a fund: the association curates deal flow, screening and education, while every member invests their own capital at their own discretion.

## What we've done

Since 2013, members have invested over €46 million in tech startups, building aggregate portfolios of 270+ companies and publishing Romania's longest-running data series on angel investment activity. TechAngels is part of EBAN, the European Business Angel Network, and the Defence Angels European Network.
